I dont EVER do this on FB but have today made an exception for a strong, caring and exceptional young woman. Ive known Danii for many years and even when still in primary school the sense of responsibility and the tender care for her sister and mum was there. She has struggled with the additional burden as so many carers do but has not let it overtake who she is. I have over 400 Facebook people who may see this and more if its shared along to their friends. I ask not that you vote simply to give accolade to one incredible young lady, but, that you see the invaluable role that young carers like Danii have in our community and that you advocate on all their behalfs for better support for them and their families.
