I dont agree with war. I dont agree with murder regardless if its in an ally at knife point or on a battle field at gunpoint. I do believe however in survival. If my life or the lives of those i love are threatened with death then the life of those i love take on a priority over the aggressor. There is a place for pacifists and pacifism but fortunately or unfortunately depending on your point of view, even the most staunch pacifists arent suicidal. In the face of great evil which has shown itself throughout history one must stand for what is right. When diplomacy fails and barbaric hordes invade or terrorism strikes at the heart and core of your being then a choice will be made. Fight for justice, fight for humanity, use your voice for what you believe, but I implore you that your voice is a weapon. Educate, research the facts not the fiction, choose the words and understand the definitions of apartheid and genocide, the intense and hurtful nature of those words that have been used in the past and the implication for the future. Words have power! Use them wisely.
