I dont apologize for my common core posts. I am even now a State and County Delegate for my district. In large part, my concern for my children, your childrens education. I simply beg you parents while you are cruising through FB (everyone does) PLEASE take the time and educate yourselves on this. We can not be passive (as I have been) about this! I am a very busy mom, wife, and business owner. I have numerous health issues. I know from tons of experience we are ALL busy and feel our plates runneth over. But please do your own research. WE MUST TAKE THE TIME AND ACT! This is the start of federalizing our education system...taking away local control. Gathering info on our children that we as parents and schools have no idea about! Think Obamacare in our education system! I dont know about you but I am for smaller government and the less the federal government is involved in our lives the better. There are lots of political issues going on but common core is high on my list and my precinct agreed with me. I hope to represent well. I am excited to learn more about our political process. Please learn along with me on all of this including common core!! Article below is a good one.
