I dont believe that what Wilson was in any way premeditated evil. Like most people, he probably had some good moments on his job and had his moments of pure stupidity. Unfortunately, when your job is being a law enforcement officer, your moments of stupidity can, and do, cause other people great harm. In this case, a kids death. So him quitting is overdue. And maybe his moment of stupidity and its outcome will make some other cop stop before they do something equally horrible to another citizen.
