I dont believe this- to a certain extent! I believe that if you want to be in someones life, you have to make the effort to put yourself there. If you sit around waiting for people to want to be in your life, youre wasting your time! People have their own lives and things going on and they may want to make an effort but their insecurities or just life in General may prevent them from doing so. A lot of people feel like they may burden or be a bother to someone if they make an effort to reach out, so you have to take responsibility and choose who you want in your life, and make the effort to keep them in yours. You cant expect someone to want to be in your life if they dont know that you want them there or you make no effort to keep them there. Its a 2 way street, dont sit around waiting for someone to realize that you miss them or want them in your life more. They may be thinking the same thing, waiting for you to realize while your waiting on them to realize! Tell them! Make plans! Be a friend that you would want to have first and foremost, and keep in mind that everyone is fighting their own battle, dealing with their own series of fortunate and unfortunate events.
