I dont care for hype and over the top scare tactics, but if I lived in central Oklahoma, Id do some basic preparing for a possible large earthquake. According to this article, USGS experts are so concerned about the seismic activity in Oklahoma that they issued May 5 their first-ever earthquake advisory warning for a state east of the Rocky. Scientists say that an earthquake with a force of magnitude 5.0 or greater could be imminent. I have several articles on my blog (search for earthquakes), and a section in the appendix of my book for preparing for one. Mostly, Id want to have a plan for getting everyone in the family back together if we were separated when an earthquake happened.
