I dont check Facebook daily and rarely post, but today is different. My day started off great. I received the email that I have officially completed the dual Masters program. Ive waited for this day for a long time. As I sat in the car waiting to pick up my daughter, I looked on Facebook to see that one of my old classmates was contemplating suicide. It made my heart ache. It started me thinking about all the people I know that are struggling. Struggling to stay married, struggling trying to decide whether they should get married, struggling trying to manage their kids, struggling to try and have kids, struggling after losing a job, struggling to keep a job, struggling with their family members, and those struggling because they have no family, struggling to keep the bills paid, struggling to keep a home and struggling to even get a home. My point is the struggle is real for everybody! One thing I know for sure is that when one or more are gathered in HIS name, prayers are answered. I am proposing that for the next two weeks wherever you are, at noon, close your eyes and say a prayer for someone who is struggling! I dedicate tomorrows noon prayer to Stephanie. I hope youll join me.
