I dont chose my pulpits. What does that verse say? A lady asked through sobs. I was sitting in Hville Radiology waiting to have my hand/wrist xrayed. Long story. The waiting room shares space with Hville Comprehensive Cancer Center Radiation Oncology. Longer story. My foot was propped on my leg which exposed a Romans 10:15 tatoo below my ankle. I shared the verse with her and she broke into tears. To be honest, I didnt notice her. I was frustrated and in pain and a medical waiting room was the last place I wanted to be on a busy Monday morning. She revealed that she had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer earlier that morning on the 21st anniversary of her husbands death. Needless to say her morning was much darker than mine. My swollen, hurting hand & this appointment was my pulpit. My sermon? Janet, God loves you and Jesus will have the last Word in your life not grief or cancer. Her name was called. I assured her of my prayers as she walked to meet her doctor. Beautiful are the feet of those that preach the Gospel. And BIG & BEAUTIFUL is a God that arranges pulpits.
