I dont come from a large family, my brother and I have 3 cousins. 3 cousins that we love VERY much. We grew up together, played, laughed and cried together. We support and encourage each others endeavors. Dont even get me started on the insane amount of giggling that goes on at the dinner table at Thanksgiving. Thats why I have had such a hard time understanding how the Demoulas cousins cant get along. Money is NOT more important than family. Actually, NOTHING is more important than family! While it sounds like the end of the Market Basket saga could be coming to an end soon, with one cousin getting the sole posession of the supermarket chain, and the other getting a boatload of money, I cant help but wonder if, maybe someday, the cousins couldnt try to put their own differences aside and try once again to be family. I know its a longshot, but I pray that happens. I am sure it would disturb their grandfather to see so much anger and hatred between the two men. Someday, perhaps, they should try sitting together at a Thanksgiving Dinner laughing and enjoying each others company. There is nothing like family and my life would be so much emptier without the presence of my 3 cousins. Get the deal done, Demoulas cousins...and then start working on whats really important.
