I dont compete with my friends, and Ive never really seen any as competitor. In all the time that a shared interest threatened what bound me to a dearly liked friend, I withdrew, yielded the space to him. As a friend, thats if youre accepted as one, I expect you to complement, not compete; to celebrate mine, not be challenged to match it. And same way, Ill respond to yours. And the day I begin to see you as a competitor, a threat, one depressed by the twists of my destiny, is the day I stop seeing you as friend... Its as simple as that, as easy as that, as funny as that.
