I dont do this very often, but I feel compelled to do it now. I just want to give honor to a special person who first witnessed to me in 2007, and we stayed in touch, off and on, for seven years. Though I didnt fully give my heart to the Lord, the Holy Spirit was working on me and convicting me of my sins. I truly believe that the reason it took so long for me to finally submit to the Lord was due to my stubbornness and guilt. The Lord knew what I needed. He gave me a friend who has been a strong force in my life. Because of his knowledge of the Word of God, and the Spirit of Prophecy, a whole new world has opened up to me. I hunger for more of the Bread of Life and want to drink of the Living Water. Winston Baker, you are a wonderful friend! Thank you for always being straight with me, even when the truth hurt. I would rather be hurt now and saved for eternity, than to sit back in my easy chair now, and have to stand before God on judgment day. Is the sinful pleasure now really worth it? Our time on this earth is as nothing, for James 4:14 says, Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Dont waste time building wealth in this life, but rather fix your heart on building treasures in heaven. Namely, SOULS for the Kingdom of God.
