I dont envy the school board members who once again face a decision on hiring a last minute replacement, this time for head basketball coach. But we elected them to represent our community and make decisions for our school and our children. My hope is that they review all applicants at the end of the application period and make an informed, unbiased decision on who can best lead these boys through the next season. These boys work hard and deserve the absolute best of those who do apply. Basketball isnt everything, but it does help build confidence, strengthen abilities, and instill a sense of teamwork into them. There is no I in team, right. My hope is that they keep this team of boys in mind when they make this decision and pick someone who will uphold and enforce the rules, instill values, and teach and demand the very best that the team can offer.
