I dont even know where to start with my emotions right now. Im nervous, ecstatic, amazingly proud, but most of all I feel incredibly loved. Annabelle has been in and out alert all day and is coming down off her pain meds. About an hour ago they had to suction her to get some of the mucous and junk out of her throat. While doing it she kept telling the nurse and I something over and over. As her nurse pulled the breathing tube out we could finally understand her saying I love you, I love you. Wanna talk about a momma in tears! My baby came out of surgery less than 11 hours ago and not only is she awake but she just made sure to tell me she loves me which I desperately needed to hear and she knew it. Such a humbling experience and definitely one that I will never in my life forget!
