I dont frequent Reddit as I find it can sometimes be a little soul-sucking. This has got me thinking about reddits influence over Kickstarter Campaigns. A couple active reddit discussions happened during our campaign. As always, many were positive and a few were very negative. Regardless we saw a boost in backer conversions originating from reddit. So it seems that reddit is a very effective social platform for campaigns. Im not a frequent reddit user so I wonder if its worthwhile to participate in discussions surrounding your game or campaign, or is the stress and possibility of the community turning on you simply not worth it?
