I dont generally snap on a job and i try to keep my cool with racists, but this morning at the weekly Women in black demonstration in Jerusalem... well... i lost it a couple of times with their contradictors (that if, if there was an actual dialogue taking place) :D The Women in Black have gotten the following shit and worse (much worse), every single week for the 26 years of their existence... so its nothing. But as i dont have it all on recorder (they didnt all want to be on record), i thought id get it out here :D I had first interviewed the women in black, so when i went to speak to their opponents, they snapped at me immediately. A racist man holding an Israeli flag told me that ISIS is coming to France and soon all France will be Muslim. In essence, for him, the 2005 riots in France were the produce of Muslims, he saw it on Facebook, they are taking over. Yes i know, in prevision, i am actually converting, and i am ready to be an ISISs 3rd wife and have 10 babies. Needless to say he didnt like the joke. He asked me for my email, having seen me handing it over to the women in Black... so .... as I didnt want to refuse him the address (he would have thought im scared or not owning what im working on...) im gonna have some nice shit in my inbox soon i suppose. He wants to follow me, see for whom i work and see what i do... As I was already the bad one, i asked them question that wouldnt please them... and for an answer i had: there is no such thing as an occupation, there is no such thing as Palestinians, they are all Arab invaders, if they want to stay, they have to be civil and non-violent because this land belongs to us. They can have civil rights but the land doesnt belong to them. It was given by Britain, France and the US, so its fair, and we gave them a bit, even though you know, they were invaders. We were supposed to take Jordan, but we are nice people so we let them [the Arabs] have it. Gazaouis are Egyptians and West Bankers are Iraqis, Syrians and Jordanians (which before he said didnt exist because... they were Palestinians... not free from contradictions, that man) Oh, and also, there is no such thing as an Arab Jew, even more as a Palestinian Jew. They are Jews. Period. Later, a soldier, arguing with the women in Black had the full human shield, rockets, defending my people speech ready and his favorite counter-attack was: what would you do if someone with an AK-47 was running while holding his baby, i saw that with my own eyes. He was apparently serving in the ground invasion in Gaza. Two French women, jumped on me after the demo. You are a journalist huh? and you are reporting on them? huh? Are you happy with what is happening in France? the attacks on Jews? They were mad i was saying West Bank: You mean the camps? There is no such thing as the West Bank, its Judea and Samaria and then went on on the fact that media coverage is bullshit, that i will die in France at the hands of ISIS, she doesnt believe it, she is too young, but you will see, that i should go visit the children of Sderot who are shitting their pants until the age of 14, that i should go work in Syria, because here its so easy, i can be all pro-Palestinian and not be touched... That was a happy day, thanks for reading, they made me a tiny bit mad, mostly because they made me lose my temper :D
