I dont have Messenger and without Bretts phone, I cant respond to - TopicsExpress

I dont have Messenger and without Bretts phone, I cant respond to anything in my in-box, sorry. But thank you for what look like messages of encouragement. Am hoping for a little light at the end of the tunnel in the shape of the part which the mechanic has been looking for to replace the one which gave up the ghost on Bretts bakkie. (He seems to be renewing his efforts now that the holidays are over, so hold thumbs.) My tax return dries up soon as I will be buying the boys costly stationery and doing a last-minute clothing shop to supplement the bits and pieces I havent managed to get from friends, so lets hope Brett makes some sort of headway on the salary front, especially since Bryn will likely have to pay for a tour on his return to school. Thanks Sam, Tessa and the very kind lady who offered a perfect-fit, almost brand new blazer on the Highway Buy, Swap & Sell site. These items have been an enormous help. The cost of school clothes is just prohibitive and I was dreading having to buy Kian new socks to replace those hes lost as they would only be used for a year! Am going to be doing a CV blitz of likely local businesses as soon as Ive labelled all the school bits n bobs and finished my school story aids commission which has been impossible to tackle with the boys at home. Im under no illusions that 2015 will be an easy year, but its time for a concerted effort to make things change. Ill probably have to swallow my pride and take one of those pay-for-petrol-&-keep-the-pocket-change type jobs until such time as something more lucrative pops up. For the moment, however, the sun is out, the birds are chirping, neighbourhood kids are shrieking happily, my children, though hormonal and grumpy, are alive and well, not hooked up to ventilators or contemplating chemo like some whove been in my thoughts & were still clinging to the house by our fingernails. Were also lucky to have generous friends & family like Gary Magree, who spoilt our boys with clothes and outings in the holidays. Thanks to all of you. Have a blessed and wonderful day.
