I dont have a ton of friends on facebook or anywhere for that reason. Probably because I am boring, or strange, or even strangely boring. I dont think I will ever deal with an incredible number of followers either. But I do appreciate Facebook providing a place to help me remember birthdays. Now a large number of people will throw out a happy birthday and its nice to be told. I prefer writing something that reflects a mutual experience or something I know (though in a pinch I suppose I have fallen to human type).
