I dont know how many people watch the show The Goldbergs, but Jacob and the kids have taken to telling me I am just like the mom in that show. I still call my kids by pet names, I am fine if they want to sit in my lap or snuggle, email teachers when I dont agree with the grade they gave or threaten to beat people up if they hurt my children. It often times comes out pretty comical. So in this typical over bearing can’t let go type of mothering fashion, I went through old pictures of their first days of school. I can honestly say I’m proud of these kids and the young members of society that they are becoming! It’s never easy to worry all day and anxiously await them getting out of school so you can know they are safe, made friends, made the right choices, and were successful…but waiting during their first day of HIGH school is going to kill me!
