I dont know how many people will remember, but there was a huge effort to trap 3 dogs that were living in the woods by Kmart in Mobile last year during the cold snap. They had lived there for some time, and lots of people were feeding them. We finally trapped them, and their extra-special foster mom has kept them, worked with them, gotten them healthy, and socialized them over the past year....it took awhile to make them understand that human hands dont always hurt. I owe her my eternal, heartfelt THANKS! Now THAT is a job well done! The big news is that Blackie was ADOPTED today! Hes a Florida boy, now. :-) Just thought all of you that were involved would like to see him in his new home!
