I dont know how well local media across St. Louis, Chicago, Indianapolis, etc are covering the thereat of severe weather for tomorrow, but I heard theyre not doing a good job. KSDK, a news station in St. Louis, posted a graphic of the convective outlook from the Storm Prediction Center. Comments included people downplaying the event and wasnt taking tomorrow seriously. I have also heard form some other people that news stations arent talking about it like they should. The parameters were seeing for tomorrow are very rare for November. A lot of people dont expect to see severe weather in mid November which will catch people off guard. People will also be at church, which is another reason why we are trying to get the message out. Not only will these storms produce tornadoes and damaging winds, but these storms will be moving up to 70mph, not your typical garden thunderstorms! When a warning is issued for you area, you have got to take shelter right away. With that said, folks living along and east of I55 in Illinois (Rockford to Bloomington to Springfield then down to Mt Vernon line) need to be on high alert mid to late morning to the early afternoon hours tomorrow as the threat of severe weather increases rapidly. Latest HRRR keeps St. Louis quiet from now to at least 7 am tomorrow. **To see the forecast for your area, visit noaa.gov**
