I dont know if Facebook is using some new algorithm or if someone (or some group of people) is going around systematically reporting accounts, but I have lost access to the account I made when I was in the trans closet, and have used for over a year, for having a fake name. Additionally, two of my other well-known activist friends have been locked out of their accounts, too. I understand that its against Facebooks terms to have multiple profiles but there are some circumstances where I dont mind risking breaking the rules. Along those lines, I knew this was a possibility and Im glad I lost access to that account and not this one. Anyway, this is just to say that if you reported my other account as having a fake name, youre an asshole.
