I dont know if any of you read about the little girl who donated her hair to a Locks of Love - or similar charity, cant remember the name now - who has been given a hard time at school because they said she looked like a boy. Well, today at the Beloit Farmers Market, I had the pleasure of seeing a young lady who also donated her hair. It turns out she is the granddaughter of a family I buy veggies from every week. I commented to the people on how cute I thought her hair cut was without realizing she was the same as this little girl. And was told her story and how she was being bullied. This amazing child had more than two feet of hair cut so that another little girl, who lost her hair from cancer treatments, could have a wig. To the parents and teachers of those kids who are doing the bullying, please take your children in hand and teach them kindness and respect. And, to the family of this wonderful young lady, you can stand proud of the remarkable person she has already become. YOU ROCK. God Bless her.
