I dont know if any of you will see this before you are done packing, as it is two days before we leave, BUT if anyone thinks that they are terrible at packing efficiently, especially in the carry on bag constraints, I am willing to help you pack! Yes, this may seem a bit conceited but I assure you there are people that can back me up up this, I am an EXCELLENT packer. My best accomplishment to date was just last winter break when I helped Molly Wiley pack just one suitcase for a three week break, I mean clothes, shoes, toiletries, the whole shebang. Just some of Mama Tins tips: -Anything small or can be rolled should be, like underwear, tank tops, socks: roll these like you would roll a piece of paper and if you have rubber bands available to you, secure them together. Trust me this saves space. -Pants and shorts and things of those kind can be worn 2-3 times and still be clean (well as long as you arent rolling around in mud or other gross things). Dont be that person that has to have a certain pair of shorts to wear with this shirt. -If there is anything you can live without for 5 days, leave it. I am guilty of this quite frequently. For me I will be leaving things like my favorite hairbrush and straightener, instead opting for my more compact comb and being sure to wear my hair in a way that doesnt need a straightener. -If you are packing the nice clothes on the off chance you get an interview, pack them LAST. This way they can be the first thing you pull out when we arrive at our hotel rooms so they dont get so wrinkly on the trip. -GIRLS who wear makeup: Bring just the little things like mascara, eyeliner, a shade of lipstick/lipgloss, and a foundation if you use it. This may or may not help any of you but it has definitely helped me.
