I dont know if the two cops killed in New York City left behind - TopicsExpress

I dont know if the two cops killed in New York City left behind families, but I met my wife Nicole in 1986 (she was 14, I was 13, wink) at an Event to benefit the fallen and assist families of NYPD and FDNY Officers and Firefighters. It was created by former NY Met Rusty Staub and Paddy Burns, then the VP the New York Police Union (and uncle to famous actor Ed Burns). I actually worked with Paddy lobbying on behalf of police officer causes in Albany, NY and know Ed (hes a great guy). Anyway, Nicole and I met at the New York Police and Fire Widows and Childrens Benefit Fund Event which was a double header the Mets won against the Houston Astros (love at first sight, wink) and after the game I got to hang out in the parking lot as the players entered their cars asked for signatures on a baseball and I got the whole team. They won the World Series that year. Great memory. In any event, the foundation to benefit those killed in the line of duty has distributed over $114 million in almost 30 years of its existence. Im not the type to ask for donations, but if you could put out a Tweet or Facebook post or something to raise awareness for this worthy cause you really would #AnswerTheCall. Thank you so much.
