I dont know if this has ever been discussed, but does anyone think its pretty silly that we have college students taking out loans to cover their enormous debt, including meal plans? Meal plans that tend to be extremely unhealthy....what if a food stamp-like program was created specifically for undergrads and grad students, so that they can eat healthier and reduce the overall principal? Conservatives would see this as an expansion of welfare but were already paying for students food at a higher price in such a way that it increases the burden on our overall economy in every possible sector.
