I dont like Woody Allen, and I dont like his misogynist and classist movies. He is an unsympathetic character. But as Ive said, I hear echoes of the Rosenberg case in the response to Dylans charges: people deciding on the basis of their loyalties things that are subject to factual and interpretive scrutiny. Recall the satanic ritual cases. I bore the brunt of attacks from many fellow male leftists for my published conclusions that Bettina Apthekers contentions against her father made sense. So, without any sympathy for Woody Allen, I doubt Dylans story.
