I dont like the situation in Ukraine today. Russian separatists are obviously in step with Vladimir Putins regime, professional militias have taken over ten eastern Ukrainian cities. In Russia, the free press has been shut down, and nationalists are calling for investigating aging ex-premier Mikhail Gorbachev for the traitorous act of allowing the Soviet Union to dissolve. Through all this, I wonder why NATO forces arent on the ground in Ukraine to put a halt to this. In another 60 years, I hope we will have moved away from using Fossil Oil for fuel. This may be the first of the last hurrah for Fossil Fuels. In the U.S., the Koch brothers must be able to read the writing on the wall. Their fortunes will wane if they do not divest from an oil future.
