I dont like to post negative things here, but I was really bothered by this and felt a need to speak up. I was at Belk yesterday and although the stores only been open for a week, I was really surprised and disappointed in the number of cigarette butts on the ground outside the front doors, on the side that doesnt have an ash tray. Would it be too much to ask to walk the couple of steps over to discard your cigarette in the ash tray rather than to smash it out on the ground and just leave it there? Were not talking about just one or two cigarette butts. It was a LOT. On the other side of the doors, the one with the ash tray, the ground was much cleaner. Its been a long journey to getting Juban Crossing built, and many people worked long and hard to get this exciting and attractive shopping center built in our area, and to see it being defaced in such a short time span is disheartening. If you smoke, please dispose of your cigarette butts in the receptacle Belk has provided, even if it means walking a few steps out of your way to the other side of the entrance.
