I dont listen to much of the current music. But I came across this track watching a Tracy McGrady highlight video - it was the background music. It spoke to me because I used to be one of those kids - started in 2nd grade, with the Jordan 6s in red n white - got em for Christmas... its just crazy how this world causes us to want, to consume, to collect... I remember my parents buying me a $180 pair of Nikes (Foamposites) because thats all I wanted for Christmas. I remember later buying a $200 pair of Jordans (17s) because they came in a briefcase. Then buying 2 pairs our the Jordans the next year because he was retiring (18s). Im glad I grew out of it, but lately I have been wanting a new pair of Jordans...we no longer use them for their purpose... we sit them there just to look at... we cant take em with us when we leave this world...
