I dont live in France and had nothing to do with what happened so I feel no need to apologize for anything. Of course the attacks were a heinous crime and unacceptable in any society and the outgrowth of an extremist ideology we should all be fighting against. However getting killed doesnt make one a saint and I certainly consider these cartoonists despicable humans preying on both the anti-Muslim xenophobia in European society and the cheap thrills Western liberals get out of the desecration of sacred symbols of all faiths. In my humble opinion the way to counter this is never through violence but in utilizing the same free speech they exploit for negativity in a positive manner and by also using the power of the purse to not support those engaged in such speech.
