I dont log into Facebook much anymore, because I can post to Facebook from Livewire or Google+ without logging in, but I really want to give God praise 1st for allowing my baby, Dedric Davis, to reach his 18th birthday, and 2nd for helping me succeed in business. I have been M.I.A for two days, because I was too busy cashing checks and paying off debt!!!!! Starting my business was the hardest thing Ive ever done in my life. It required me to completely change my mind set and to sacrifice a lot of things I enjoyed doing, to learn, focus, and grow. I had to look crazy, give up the idea of popularity for a book, turn down invitations, give up 95% of television, talking on the phone, hec I couldnt even get my hair done because all of money was tied up in investments and bills. However, I never gave up! I didnt care what it looked like; I hung in there. I worked for months without pay because I had to build this thing with my bare hands. I couldnt go to mommy or daddy for a loan; I couldnt turn to people who never believed in me in the first place for a hand out; I had to suffer in silence trusting that God led me to the internet to start a business not just for myself, but other people who desperately wanted to climb out of the grips of poverty. Yet, I was determined to hold on to the promises of God and to fight against generations of poverty and lack. I was determined to ensure that my children did not replicate this vicious cycle of struggle and striving for a $1. I dared to believe that my God was an abundant God, regardless of the constant belief that money is hard to come by. I didnt believe that then, and I dont believe that now. I believe we fight against mind set and generational curses because too many people are exceling and making tons of money with no problem and how can one person be more human than another ( Maya Angelou)? I praise God for showing me that all things are possible if you only believe, and put action with that belief!
