I dont mean to rant and rave about Church music but here is something that grinds my gears. The Church I grew up in no longer uses the organ and it is a beautiful one. Our Church stared with Hammond organs and then a Allen organ, with a full rank of tube chimes and antiphonal speakers. I suggested to the pastor of the Church now that the Church offers to organ students to practice on. It was for naught, just setting there gathering dust. I know that there are other Churches are in the situation. They sold off the Hammond that was put in the choir room. Sold it and the speakers off for $500.00. I later saw it sold on EBay for $5,850. It was in perfect shape. Thank you for letting me rant!
