I dont normally do this, but I have seen and heard some lovely kind people get the short end of the stick because they have been succeeding... No words of celebration, but if anything, have been facing alienation from their previous friends and peer groups... My question: Why, at the moment that somebody gets into the Faculty of Medicine, this person becomes {to name a few that I have heard} traitors, personality-flawed in multiple respects, stuck up, superficial, prestige whores. 1) if someone wants to do medicine in the first place, isnt it a natural progression to try and get into their desired discipline irregardless of what they are currently in? 2) furthermore, if they want to do medicine, and they happen to get into the discipline that they want; shouldnt their colleagues be joyful for them accomplishments and celebrate their achievements as their peer? 3) ok, now I can only assume that its a bit of jealousy, betrayal, or moral bias causing this reaction... but by succumbing to these things, and acting out negatively at a colleague who has just gotten, in their opinion, great news, the antagonist robs themselves of success and happiness simply by dwelling on negativity. Whether a person is on the road to becoming a Doctor, dentist, pharmacist, engineer, becoming the CEO of a major corporation, a famous actor/actress, or a published author..... Remind yourself to celebrate everyones individual achievements. By doing this you fill your spectrum of influence with positivity, and through celebrating the positive in someone elses experience, you will just open up greater opportunity and potential for accomplishment in your own life. I feel I best express myself through this statement: If youre on a path, youre on it for a purpose, and by encouraging others as they hit successes on their path, and by augmenting positivity, you will only expand your own avenue to a destination of greater accomplishment than you could have imagined otherwise. Youre all brilliant and equipped with your own set of unique skills giving you the capacity to achieve remarkable things. Lets all help each other reach that capacity by building up, celebrating, and expressing gratitude for our own gifts :) Have a great day :D
