I dont normally engage in the slaughter of online snake oil proponents but I saw this post of utter Jibberish Mc Talkey on a popular audio forum earlier this evening. I thought the ludicrous statements contained within would provide amusement here but it also worries me that this is the kind of clown purporting to be an audio engineer. Ive edited out the names of the plugins mentioned as its not fair on those companies: Been switching back and forth between X and Y in the last year or so not being able to decide which I like better. Started testing Z now and to me it sounds like a big step up in both size and especially transparency, so much so that I can now even use both Y and Z at the same time without making the mix sound choked or distorted. With Z the tracks almost mixed themselves without needing any EQ or compression, and somehow even the timing and feel seemed to improve! When bypassed my test mix sounded sterile and amateurish in comparison. Impressed! Ahem!
