I dont normally even bother to watch many of the videos on Facebook, but this one caught me for some reason. Its a good enough message to share, too. If you are struggling with substance abuse in any way, think of the safety of others, especially children, yours or not. Its not about whether you would ever intentionally harm a child, or anyone for that matter, but when youre under the influence everything from your judgement to your reflexes are affected. Impairment has nothing to do with intention. My own past gives me great compassion and grace for those who struggle with addiction, but my Momma Bear heart pleads with you not to take risks or think youre still in control of yourself. Get help. Before someone gets hurt, or worse. And remember that all too often the ones who get hurt the most are the ones you love.
