I dont normally follow the trends on Facebook, but I have enjoyed - TopicsExpress

I dont normally follow the trends on Facebook, but I have enjoyed reading everyones about me stats, that I thought I should follow suit. I was given the number 12. Here goes: 1. I am terrified of snakes. So terrified of them, that I cant even see a picture of one or I will hyperventilate. Just typing about them is making my heart rate increase. 2. I jumped off a barn roof when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. I thought it would be cool to break my leg. Instead, I landed on my feet and pushed my hip bones up into my back. Some days I have horrible pain in my hips and lower back. One stupid decision when I was younger will affect me for the rest of my life. 3. I dont know how to swim. I have even been coached by 2 lifeguards and still cannot swim. I used to love water when I was younger, but am not a big fan now. 4. I have been chased by a goat, bitten by a Canadian goose, and stepped on by a 1500 lb. steer. I am not afraid of any of those animals. 5. I went to two colleges, but never changed towns. I received my Associates Degree in English from Ricks College and my Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho which is the same school just bigger. 6. I have had a variety of jobs from motel maid to door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesman. 7. I once ate a 2 lb. hamburger and 27 french fries by myself to get my picture on a wall. When I was younger I could eat a ton of food and never gain weight. Now that I am older and heavier, I cannot eat nearly that much food. 8. I dont like the things a women normally likes: shoes, jewelry, cheesecake, flowers (they die too soon), or doing my hair. 9. My husband, Christopher Anthony, and I only dated for 2 months before we got engaged. We knew each other for 5 years before that, but only communicated through phone and email. 10. I used to hate my red hair and wanted to die it black when I was younger. Now I love my hair color. 11. I have a lazy eye, a slight speech impediment, and 2 of my permanent teeth did not come in. This trifecta of issues caused me to be teased horribly when I was young. This teasing helped me to become a stronger person and made me understand that I am a child of God and that appearance doesnt matter. I did have eye surgery when I was 21 and it helped my eyes some. Maybe in a few years I can get a new smile. 12. I am a very shy person. I almost got held back in kindergarten because I was so shy. I have trouble meeting new people and this comes across as me being a snob. Once I get to know somebody, there is no shutting me up.
