I dont normally like to vent here but its certain things that makes me second guess people. In the past couple of weeks, Ive had several inquires for my fosters. I get very excited and hopeful, especially after a few positive emails. But then theres nothing. Its like the inquiry drops from the face of the earth. This had happened so many times over the years and Im quite tired of it. I think people surmise if they stop contacting that means they have lost interest. I eventually get that, but instead of leaving a hopeful foster parent and their fur babies waiting, do the courteous thing and tell the foster a simple thank you but no. I never want to force adoption on people so if they change their mind, just say so. Dont leave me hanging on to false hopes. I know life gets us busy but how long does it take to send one tiny email or phone call?
