I dont normally post updates like this, but if it inspires someone it will be worth it. This morning I reached a weight loss goal I set over 2 years ago. After all the excuses, I finally decided to make a change and lose weight the old-fashioned way: eating better and working out. I started with little steps (cutting out all soda step 1), increased my water intake, portion controlled, run 30 mins 3-4 times a week (which is huge for me, I HATE running). The weight slowly came off. I would hit plateaus, but I would then change up my routine, increase protein, decrease carbs. Never anything drastic. And over 2 years later I am still working at it. YOU can make a change in your habits. Being healthy is the top priority! Thank you to all of you who made the you look great comments throughout the last few years, they really are a confidence boost. :)
