I dont oppose the idea of researching mass gun violence to learn what we can about the causes. I suspect theres a higher correlation between a mass media culture that thinks the only way to make characters interesting is to make them serial killers and mass gun violence than there is between the Second Amendment and mass gun violence. After all, the Second Amendment has been in effect more than 200 years. Mass gun violence and mass media glorification of serial killers are much more recent phenomena.
