I dont play a lot of F2P mobile games, but Ive started playing Summoners War: Sky Arena. I like it. Im mentioning Summoners War because I was a bit put off by the price of in-app purchases: USD 30 for consumables with RNG rewards (in other words, gratification not guaranteed). To put things in perspective: • 30 USD is more than enough to purchase Guild Wars 2 while its on 50% off (which is access to an MMO with content that is still being updated). • Skyrim is now only at 19.99 USD on Steam (old game now, though). The Legendary Edition with the base game and all the DLC is at 39.99 USD. • Bioshock Infinite is at 29.99 USD on Steam (also kind of dated, but you get the point, right?) Also, word also got around that the top player of the game has spent several thousand dollars on in-app purchases (something about him saying he got hacked, and he claims to have spent about more than 100k in order to get customer supports attention I guess), so thats totally a whale right there.
