I dont think I shared with yall that when my daughter was in labor, they asked, who would be cutting babys cord my daughter, without hesitation said, my mother I just wanted to scream!!! So they later found out that he had a bowel movement and THEY said THEY believed that he had swallowed his waste and they were concerned about meconium aspiration, and the doctor said, Im sorry mom, but you may not be able to cut the cord, we have NICU setting up. Now, this happens when the baby is born one to three weeks past the expected due date, which my daughter was over due by that time frame! Well, yall know me!! I went to the Way Maker! I took a nap and they woke me up telling me it was time to push! After about 10 pushes, my baby was coming out CRYING!!! That let them know the waste was NOT swallowed by Saveon!!!! They gave me the clamp and what did I do??? Cut the cord!! I was so nervous, I had to cut twice! I share this because I sit and look at him and just know God was all in this! I have a bond with my grand baby and he is being used to heal me and my baby girl. ONE more thing I want to share is this........ Many talk about being GOD PARENTS.... My daughter is my god daughter! God gave her to me when she was 7weeks old! At the age of 14 I had to return her to strangers! Her biological parents! However, at 18, she was given BACK to me! Not ONLY her, but my grandson! God had me return BACK on the very day she would give me the best gift I have had..... Cutting the cord of her first baby! Our baby!! I cant explain how I feel about this... I can ONLY say.... BUT GOD!! #anothersnippetofmybook
