I dont think anyone has done this song as much justice......... absolutely a thing of beauty. This demonstrates what ive often said about the Temptations....& why they stand out among all of the vocal groups of the 60s & 70s. They were the complete package......5 good looking cats,that all could dance & SING. This song demonstrates how they all could sing lead...as well as superb background harmony. I grew up celebrating Christmas....& the warm feeling around it,but if you celebrate Hanukkah or Kwanzaa ,that works too. I think the idea & feelings of the holiday season is what ultimately counts.A special shot of love to Maureen McCormick,who has had a rough holiday season..& to Piero Amadeo Infante who took the initiative to track down where she was.
