I dont think it has evil intent but I think there are so many things that have become a norm thats incredibly unhealthy. We stop questioning them. There are bigger problems for women than this but this is an issue too. Although I care way less about this than the stereotypes/norms that create FGM(female genital mutilation) or the stereotypes/norms that endanger women and force countries like Iran to make policies where a woman can get a vaginal reconstruction as a necessary not cosmetic choice (a sometimes life/death choice where a woman can be kicked out her home, killed, disowned, never marry because she isnt a virgin. This includes cases of rape). At the end of the day on each side of the spectrum, from life and death to minor it all stems from the same mind frame/ system/ gender norms/stereotypes/roles. A solution could be to change the way women are viewed. Maybe then all of these issues would go(maybe)
