I dont think its fair to label anyone not a true fan if they dont particularly like the new album, I actually find it quite condescending and offensive. Its like saying youre not a vegetarian if you dont like brussel sprouts! You dont have to love everything an artist puts out, I know I certainly dont love everything the boys have put out (even on earlier albums), and I would challenge anyone to label me as not a true fan. Yes the new album has gone in a new direction, I understand that and accept that. As Ive said in the past, everything evolves (and I got shot down for using that word), but its true, like anything in life there are changes. Does that mean we have to like it, no, but we learn to accept it and move on. NFA isnt my favourite album, but there songs on there that I really like, others that I dont. Will I continue to see them live, yes. Will I continue to be a fan, yes, Will I continue to buy their albums, yes. Am I a fan - YES!
