I dont think its fully sunk in yet.... Its been an awesome 4 days here at the #cape2capemtb Every day has been tough and its been a close race the whole way. Todays stage was all about defending and following Andrew Blair every time he tried to get away.... Which he tried... A lot Awesome ride by Dylan Cooper who crossed the line first from a breakaway of 3. Chris Hamilton & Ben Forbes were super strong all day. Ben was a bit wrecked from it & forgot how to use his brakes as he took out the fence after the finish line. Brendan Johnston and Paul Van Der Ploeg rounded out a crazy strong top 5. Em Parkes had another blinder of a stage, crossing the line 2nd today and holding onto 3rd overall. This is my first major MTB win, its been so much fun to be part of a hard fought, close race. I wouldnt be riding without the support from Torq Australia and coaching from Mark Fenner The race also wouldve been a lot different without Hammo, who is riding ridiculously strong at the moment, and hes only 19!!
