I dont think that I have made an official announcement of my impending retirement. I have enjoyed about 37 years of my nursing career. I have met so many people, made so very many friends that remain close and dear to my heart. I have been blessed to feel each and every day that I have somehow made a difference in peoples lives. And Indeed THEY have made a difference in mine. Becoming a nurse has impacted me, given me confidence, afforded me a life that I might otherwise have not enjoyed....but...the time has come! I am tossing the gauntlet to a younger generation. Ladies and gentlemen who are on the threshold of their careers. And I am happy to have shared with them at their starting line Thanking God most of all, my family and those friends and medical staff that have had faith and patience with me and my abilities to succeed.
