I dont think that anyone who has good health care insurance, or, has never had same insurance, can truly understand. With excellent health, eye, dental, and prescription care, my general attitude was, Sure, lets do it. Then, with no insurance, I learned that replacing my glasses was going to cost me $700 and the dental treatment was going to be more than that. So I stopped going. Some of my medications had not generics, or I reacted to the generics. $200 dollars a month. I stopped. Surgery that would make life more manageable, less painful, but not life-saving? No way. Physical therapy? Nope. Wishard Advantage? Make too much. Too much is not very much, by the way. So, I learned the parts of the system that can help me out, which clinics will work with me. Which lines to wait in, so to speak.
