I dont think that many folk realise that the Scottish Parliament was never abolished when the union was formed, only suspended. As we all know, it has been reconvened. That means, basically, that it operates under Scots Law and as such, cannot not be interfered with by Westminster or anyone else. The fact that London has allowed the Scottish parliament only certain powers, is illegal. In England, Soverignity lies with the Queen and Westminister but in Scotland, under Scots law, Soverignity lies with the people of Scotand. And it is the duty of the the Scottish Parliament to listen to and act upon the clear will of the people. Westminister cannot prevent or stop the passing of any Bill, treaty or law, in Scotland. This also includes a Deckaration of Independence. Westminister lives an operates in hopes that we (UK) all stay in the dark. As in this case. This nonsense about Westminster allowing the Scottish Parliament this or that is unconstitutional. The time has come, in fact it is well overdue when the people who live in Scotland recognise that they have a voice and now is the time to warm up those vocal chords before Westminister inflicts permanent damage on the country, I.E fracking, NHS and others that Scots hold dear. Broon and company need to stop talking sh@, you cant give someone something that already belongs to them. Head in sand, instead of sticking to reality,they just carry on trying to fool people with nonsense all because they need to manipulate folk in the direction they want you to go. To get away with it.
