I dont think we should ignore or stuff our feelings into a big sack and carry them around with us. Just my opinion, but I have found that acknowledging them, embracing them, then gently letting them go is much healthier. But this is a process. The letting go and the healing will take longer for some than others. Take all the time you need, be gentle with yourself, talk to a trusted friend, pray, and do one little thing, and then the next. With time, we will discover we are stronger than we thought.
