I dont typically do this, but today I am going to. I dont always let you guys into my private world, I try to keep what I do and all the rest separate. But I got a touching message today. Hey Matt - I just wanted to send some love your way- and let you know you are an Inspiration and your enthusiasm is infectious. If it wasnt for you and your videos, I wouldnt be breeding geckos- and it is a huge enhancement to life to work with these animals. The 3 G Projects geckos I got from you continue surprise me each season- and I Couldnt be happier standing on your shoulders (genetically speaking) - Ive been wanting to let you know youve changed the direction of my life in a positive way and have given me something to look forward too at a tough time in life. Things like this really touch me and I am greatful for who,what and where I am in life. It hasnt been all sunshines and rainbows for sure. There were some points in my life where I had absolutely nothing, and even some point where I have had it all striped away. I have been kicked down and felt like giving up, not just with geckos. But in my personal life as well. The last year has been extreamly hard for me. Some day when I write a book I will tell you guys all about it. :-). But lets just say it was extreamly bad. That is why I was kinda MIA for a few moths. But I want all of you guys to know that I appreciate all of my fans and even the people that arnt fans :-). You guys helped me get through my dark period. So for every message that I have gotten saing that I inspired someone, I want to thank you for inspiring me to keep going and doing what I do. This isnt exactly the most glamorous job sometimes. Wether I like or not I am a public figure in this hobby. So here is what I say to you guys. If you have a dream... Go and achieve it. Dont ever give up on it. Be an inspiration to people. Embrace the good and the bad times and enjoy the ride. We only get one so make the most of it. Here is my challenge for all of you. I want you to type something that you always wanted to do below. And this weekend go and do it. It can be something small or life changing but do something. Because you never achieve anything standing still. Again thank you all :-). Matt
